"One-track placement" ranking
"One-track placement" analyzes each school's ability to place students in diverse markets. The first number indicates the largest number of summer associates in any single major market. (Most markets are denoted below.) The second number is a percentage that indicates how much of that school's reported Vault 100 summer associate class is concentrated in that market.
For instance, USNWR #4 Columbia has 215 summer associates in its largest market, NY/NJ; 71.0% of its reported summer associates are concentrated in the NY/NJ market. Brooklyn has 21 associates in NY/NJ, which is where 100% of its reported associates went.
