On these statistics

There will inevitably be some flaws with these statistics. They are all self-reported. They contain a significant number of "unknown" names. Some do not distinguish non-2Ls or split-summers. Students at higher-ranked schools are more likely to get a position as a non-2L or to split a summer at two Vault 100 firms, which may skew the statistics in both regards toward the higher-ranked schools.

Nevertheless, it at least provides some perspective for similarly-situated schools, and some relative comparative advantages. We'll see if the data gets more precise over time.
